Founded on the operating side of decisions.
Kawal Advisory Group is a private strategic advisory practice built to help leaders see their organizations clearly before the moment requires action.
A practice shaped by the distance between intention and readiness.
Devidasa Kawal founded Kawal Advisory Group after years of observing a recurring problem inside consequential decisions. Strategies were often sound. Ambition was rarely in short supply. What failed was the operating environment around them.
Teams lacked a shared view of the facts. Decision rights were unclear. Critical dependencies sat across functions, unseen until execution was already under pressure. The question was not simply whether a direction was right, but whether the organization was ready to carry it.
The firm was built around that distinction. Its work gives leaders an independent, evidence-led view of present capacity, the conditions that must change, and the sequence required to move with control.

Advice should account for the organization that must execute it.
The idea for Kawal Advisory Group took shape in the space between advice and action. Too many advisory conversations stop at recommendation; too few examine whether the organization has the structure, information, and decision rights to carry the plan.
The practice was formed to close that gap. Its readiness formula examines conditions across the enterprise, then brings operating evidence into a single 360-degree view of capacity, dependencies, risks, and control.
Findings become a prioritized 30/90-day action plan: what must be decided now, what must be corrected next, and what structural work must follow. The result is advice designed for execution rather than applause.
From operating insight to practice.
The operating years
The pattern becomes clear
Across consequential decisions, the same gap kept appearing: leaders could see the destination, but the organization did not yet have the information, ownership, process, or capacity to reach it reliably.
The method
Readiness becomes the question
That pattern led to a disciplined way of examining the whole operating system. The readiness formula, 360-degree report, and sequenced 30/90-day plan were shaped to connect strategic intent with executable conditions.
MIT certification
AI through an operating lens
Formal certification in artificial intelligence through MIT strengthened the firm’s ability to assess AI implementation beyond technology selection: data, controls, process integrity, team structure, and responsible adoption.

MIT-certified in artificial intelligence.
Devidasa Kawal is certified in artificial intelligence through MIT. That foundation informs an implementation perspective grounded in operating reality rather than product selection alone.
The work examines the conditions that must exist before AI can be deployed responsibly: data readiness, process integrity, control frameworks, decision rights, and the team structures required to sustain the capability. Technology is only as ready as the organization around it.
Clarity for moments of consequence.
The standard the practice holds for every engagement.
